ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – October 19, 2021): National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser said on Monday that the National Assembly would pass a law to stem the threat of the interest-based economic system in the country .
Addressing the Rehmatul lil conference, the speaker said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly has already passed the bill against the interest-based economic system.
The riba bill was in the preliminary stages. Prime Minister Imran Khan would never allow legislation against Islamic laws.
He said the topic of Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) has been included in the national curriculum. We read the Quran daily without understanding its meanings and message.
The government of the day has made the teaching of the Quran compulsory for students in grades one to five, he said, adding that the National Assembly passed a resolution making it compulsory to write Khatim a Nabiyyin with the name of Hazrat Muhammad (PSL).
Speaking on the occasion, Minister of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sahibzada Noor ul Haq Qadri said Ashra Rehmatul lil Alamein is being celebrated in the country on the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The Rehmatul lil Alameen Authority was being established in the country to spread the message of the Holy Prophet in a true spirit.
The Holy Prophet was the only model in the world.
Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan praised the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony for working to promote Khatam e Nabawat.
He said that Khatam a Nabiyyin was written with the name of Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh) in the textbooks for grades one to ten.
Eid Miladun Nabi (PSL) was celebrated at the official level, he said, adding that a debate on Seerat un-Nabi would be held in the National Assembly. The seerat provided us all with a complete code of conduct.
“We must follow the Seerat of the Holy Prophet. We can only be successful in this world and in the Hereafter by following the Seerat of the Prophet. We will build Pakistan on the model of the State of Medina”, a- he promised.
