RIYAD – The head of the Saudi-Omani Business Council Nasser Bin Said Al-Hajiri stressed that the visit of the Sultan of Oman Haitham Bin Tarik Al-Said to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reflects the deep relations between the two countries in various fields.

He pointed out that the economic sector has been given special attention in Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and Oman’s Vision 2040.

In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Al-Hajiri said the Saudi-Omani Business Council is working to strengthen bilateral relations in order to achieve the ambitions of leaders, business community and government officials. peoples of both countries.

Al-Hajiri also said that the Saudi-Omani trade partnership and trade volume have grown tremendously over the past decade, reaching SR 757.4 million in 2010 and SR 452.11 million in 2020.

Oman State Council Member Ali Al-Issa’ee also stressed that the deeply rooted relations between Muscat and Riyadh are based on mutual respect, trust and constructive cooperation in the service of Pan-Arab and Islamic causes. since the 1970s and 1980s.

He also noted that the visit of the Omani Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was a reflection of the close ties between the two countries, stressing the importance of the visit to open new horizons of economic cooperation and investment.
